SBI- Clerk
The State Bank of India is an Indian multinational, public sector banking and financial services statutory body. It is a government corporation statutory body headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. SBI is ranked as 236th in the Fortune Global 500 list of the world’s biggest corporations of 2019.
The State Bank of India conducts SBI Clerk Exam to hire candidates for Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) in its different branches across the country. SBI Clerk is one of the most famous bank exams today. It is a national-level exam, and the minimum qualification required to apply is a Bachelor’s degree.
SBI Clerk 2022 Eligibility
- Educational Qualification
SBI Clerk is conducted for candidates with minimum graduation, pan India. You can only apply for it if you have secured the required marks in your graduation level. The following are the detailed qualification requirements that you must fulfill in order to be eligible to appear in this exam:
- The candidate must be a graduate with 3 or 4 year degree in any discipline.
- Must have secured at least 50% in class 10 and degree courses from a recognized university.
- Candidates in the final year of their degree can take the exam but they must produce proof of passing the exams with at least 50% marks at the time of joining and should pass it before January 1, 2022.
- Additionally, candidates must be well versed in official and local languages.
- For the candidates possessing an integrated dual degree (IDD), they must have a qualifying date on the degree before January 1, 2022.
- Must be well versed in the English language (reading and writing).
- Age Limit
Candidates aspiring to qualify for the SBI clerk 2022 exam must be of 20 years of age or above as of January 1, 2022, and must not exceed 28 years of age, i.e. the aspirants should have been born not later than 01.04.2002 and not before 02.041994 (both days inclusive). Amongst various provisions made for a reserved class, age relaxation is one of the factors. Candidates belonging to the reserved category have age relaxation based on the category they belong to.

- Tibetan refugees who has come to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in the country
- Persons of Indian origin who have migrated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.
SBI Clerk Exam Pattern
- Prelims: Phase I
Preliminary Examination (online) consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern: Important Points
- Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above.
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject as well as for aggregate (overall) are prescribed.
- Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies. subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.

The structure of main examination (online objective type) would be as follows:

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern: Important Points
- Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above.
- The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be decided by the bank. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject are prescribed. Merit list will be drawn State wise, category wise. Candidates qualified in the test (main examination) will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and Categories.
